Job Title: Administrative Support – Ballarat Evolve

Part-Time – Average 10 hours per month

Ballarat Evolve seeks a Part-Time Support Resource to join our team. 

Ballarat Evolve is a non-profit association dedicated to matching aspiring artists with landlords who have vacant retail spaces. 

This role will be instrumental in supporting the organisation's mission and ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations.

As a Support Resource, you will contribute directly to our efforts in updating our website, managing enquiries, organising our annual event, and maintaining our client and property database. 

This is a remote position, but attendance at monthly board meetings is required. These occur on the 3rd Wednesday evening of every month from February to December.

Responsibilities:

Update and maintain the organisation's website using Squarespace

Screen applications and assist with interviewing potential artists

Organise and manage enquiries from both artists and landlords

Take minutes and agenda notes during board meetings

Maintain an updated client and property database

Create engaging social media content to promote our mission and activities

Follow processes and suggest enhancements to streamline operations

Assist in event management activities, including our annual event

Requirements:

Proficiency in web skills, particularly with Squarespace, and scheduling social media posts

Passionate about the arts and supporting emerging artists

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Possess excellent organisation and time management skills

Patience and ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders

Details:

This position reports to the board of Ballarat Evolve and offers a flexible work schedule averaging 10 hours per month.

As a remote position, you will have the opportunity to work from your preferred location. However, attendance at monthly board meetings is required. 

Remuneration is $60 AUD per hour

The remuneration fee shall be inclusive of profit, travel, supervision, overheads, on costs, accommodation, consumables, charges and all other costs and expenses associated with the provision of personnel, goods and services in respect of the Work.

The incumbent shall be paid the agreed instalment on the presentation of a tax invoice, which will identify the GST component and will quote the Creative’s valid ABN and will meet their own tax, superannuation and insurance obligations.
